Commitment to Culture

Our Culture & Vision project allowed us to refresh our purpose and values. This project has identified key areas in our business that we are committed to and they are:

Communication & Collaboration – Build new and improve upon existing systems in order to disseminate information effectively to all stakeholders.
Human Resources – Identify the needs of the organization for its long-term success; Hire strong candidates who share our values; Create a culture that contributes to employee success and makes us a preferred employer.
Marketing – Be creative and meaningful in our brand recognition and awareness projects in order to build trust and confidence in our products, both with our dealer partners and with the end customer.
New Markets – Identify new areas of opportunity to build and grow our business.
Process Efficiencies – Identify, assess, and implement process efficiencies in all aspects of the business.

Employee Engagement

At First Canadian we care what our employees think. We hold annual Employee Focus Groups, quarterly Town Halls, seek feedback through employee surveys and provide opportunities for all employees to participate in special projects that contribute to our success. We listen, encourage honest feedback, implement change, and ask again.
The Culture Team is made up of volunteer employees from different departments, backgrounds, age groups and genders. Their purpose is to educate and celebrate, lead with compassion and courage, communicate with inclusion in mind, and make FCFG a safe and accessible environment for everyone including our customers and employee family members. Their message to everyone is “Be Strong, Be Kind and have Courage”.
